These Pals are found in early habitats (Lv1–15) and already reach work level 3 or higher — strong performers without needing late-game Pals.

Guide Commentary
The key to a smooth early game in Palworld is stabilizing your base as fast as possible. Among Pals spawning at habitat levels 1–15, Lamball (Handiwork, Transporting, Farming), Chikipi (Gathering, Farming), and Lifmunk (Planting, Handiwork, Gathering, Lumbering, Medicine Production) cover multiple work slots with a single Pal, letting a small roster keep the base running. Foxcicle, available from level 15 onward, delivers near-endgame performance at Cooling 4 and Farming 3 while eating only 4 food units — a remarkably low cost for its output. Penking is the early all-rounder: Handiwork, Mining, Transporting, Cooling, and Watering in one Pal. Surfent, at Watering 3 with an appetite of only 3, is an efficient water Pal, while Dinossom handles both Planting 3 and Lumbering 3. For first breeding, choose unique combos where both parents are catchable early so you can guarantee the offspring without grinding rare Pals. Build your initial base around low-appetite Pals, then swap to high-performance Pals once your food production infrastructure is set up.
