Palworld 1.0 Official Launch — Key Changes Summary

Palworld officially launched as version 1.0 on July 10, 2026. This major update introduced a new region and two new progression systems.

World Tree Region

A brand-new exploration area called the World Tree has been added to the game. The World Tree has its own separate habitat data, distinct from the main island. You can explore spawn locations for this region via the World Tree tab on each Pal's habitat map.

Awakening and Mutation Systems

Two new advanced Pal development systems have been introduced:

• Awakening — Unlocks hidden potential in your Pals to boost their capabilities.
• Mutation — Alters Pal traits and characteristics for customized builds.

Both systems are end-game progression features. Database coverage for these systems is planned for a future update.

• Pals: 288 entries (including variants)
• Active Skills: 330
• Passive Skills: 420
• Breeding Combos: 258 unique combinations
