Mau Cryst is only Rarity 2, yet in the wild it appears solely as a Lv.39–45 field alpha boss, leaving no regular capture window. Instead, both parents of the unique Mau × Pengullet combo are Rarity 1 early-game Pals, so breeding puts it within reach from the very start of the game. Only three of all 288 Pals carry both Cooling and Farming aptitudes, and with a food amount of just 1 it runs your early fridge at almost no upkeep. Its combat stats sit at the very bottom, though, so treat it strictly as base personnel.
