Pal Tier List by Purpose

A tier list that ranks Pals for three purposes — base work, combat, and mounted travel — computed directly from the game's own data.

Base Worker Tier

59 Pals

The Pals that produce resources most efficiently at your base. Grades are set by the highest work suitability level each Pal has.

Combat Tier

45 Pals

The strongest Pals in a fight, judged on HP, ranged attack, and defense together. Each card shows the three real stat values.

Mount Tier

35 Pals

The fastest Pals to ride for crossing the map. Pals that cannot be ridden are excluded.

How grades are calculated

Every grade is computed at build time from the real in-game values of all 288 Pals and recalculated whenever a game update changes those numbers. No subjective opinions or voting are involved.

The three tiers are each calculated separately from different game values. The rules below are applied exactly as written — no one reorders the rankings by hand.

Base Worker Tier

The Base Worker Tier is split by the highest work suitability level a Pal has: level 8 is S, 7 is A, and 6 is B. Within a grade, Pals are ordered by the sum of all their suitability levels, then by work speed.

Combat Tier

The Combat Tier converts each Pal's HP, ranged attack, and defense into a percentile against all Pals, then ranks by the average of those three percentiles. The top 10 are S, the next 15 are A, and the next 20 are B.

Mount Tier

The Mount Tier ranks Pals by their sprint speed while being ridden. Pals that cannot be ridden are excluded; the top 8 are S, the next 12 are A, and the next 15 are B.

FAQ

Is this tier list based on community votes?

No. Every grade is assigned automatically by calculating the real values pulled from the game — work suitability levels, combat stats, and ride speed. No human opinion or voting is involved, and grades update automatically whenever the game changes.

Why do some Pals appear in all three tiers?

Because each tier is calculated separately by purpose. A Pal with both high combat stats and fast ride speed can rank in the Combat Tier and the Mount Tier at the same time — each list shows how good that Pal actually is for that specific use.

Should I only raise S-tier Pals?

Pick by purpose rather than chasing a single list. Use the Base Worker Tier for your base, the Combat Tier for boss fights, and the Mount Tier for exploring. No single Pal tops every purpose, so splitting roles across several Pals is the most efficient approach.
